John David Wise, DMD, FAGD

I returned to Beaufort to join my father's dental practice in September 2015. I graduated in 2005 from Clemson University, and like my dad, earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. After dental school, I commissioned as an officer in the Army Dental Corps. During my time in service, I completed a 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Benning, and deployed to Afghanistan with the 4th Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division. I achieved Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry in July of 2016, a prestigious honor earned by completing over 500 hours of continuing education as well as passing a challenging examination.

I married my amazing wife, Laura, in October of 2019. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy reading, playing guitar and singing, and spending time with my wife and our Alaskan Malamute, Toby.
