Marshlands Family Dentistry is a family run practice, led by a father and son team of highly skilled dentists. Dr. Edward Wise earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1973. Dr. Wise is a retired colonel of the US Air Force, and maintains active membership with the USAF Dental Corps. He is joined by his son, Dr. John David Wise, who earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. The younger Dr. Wise then went on to follow in his family’s tradition of military service and joined the US Army Dental Corps, where he completed a 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.
